The school is run by CMI Fathers of Carmel Province Muvattupuzha. Carmelities of Mary Immaculate (CMI) is the first indigenous religious order in India. It was the fruition of the collective dream of three holy and visionary priests, namely saintKuriakose Elias Chavara, Fr. Thomas Palackal and Fr.ThomasPorukkara. The first monastery was established at Mannanam in 1855. This 'exempt' religious order has a membership of over 2500 and is spread over all the continents of the world.
